In this webinar, Dr. Ian Giammanco, Lead Research Meteorologist and Managing Director of Standards and Data Analytics at IBHS, will showcase stories of resilience success. This presentation will highlight how modern building codes have become tools for resilient construction, reducing both the threat to life safety and reducing loss. Dr. Giammanco will also discuss the story behind IBHS’s FORTIFIED program, and the role played by the insurance industry, as well as how IBHS hail impact ratings for asphalt shingles have moved manufacturers to improve product performance.
