Texas Releases Unemployment Insurance Tax Rates for 2023

Texas released its 2023 unemployment insurance tax rates in a Jan. 6 update on the state workforce commission’s website.

The tax rates for experienced employers range from 0.23% to 6.23% and include a 0.13% replenishment tax as well as a 0.1% employment training and investment assessment, according to the website. The state’s bond obligation assessment and deficit tax are not in effect for 2023.
