Join the Insurance Council of Texas for an important webinar exploring wildfire prevention, mitigation, and the growing impact of wildfire risk across Texas. As wildfire threats continue to evolve, this timely program will bring together leading experts from fire service, code development, forestry, and mitigation strategy to discuss practical solutions, policy considerations, and community preparedness efforts shaping the state’s response.
The first presentation will feature Chief Debra Knight, State Fire Marshal; Justice Jones, Fire and Disaster Program Manager with the International Code Council; Kari Hines, Firewise Coordinator with Texas A&M Forest Service; and Luke Ball, Wildfire Mitigation Officer with the AFD Wildfire Division. Together, they will provide a broad perspective on wildfire prevention, resilience, and the collaborative efforts underway to reduce risk across Texas communities.
The second presentation will feature Thaddeus Foster, Founder, Alex Foster, Chief Operating Officer, and others from Wildfire Prevention Corporation, who will offer additional insight into wildfire prevention strategies, emerging challenges, and innovative approaches to protecting property and communities.
This webinar is designed for insurance professionals and stakeholders seeking a deeper understanding of wildfire issues in Texas and the actions being taken to address one of the state’s most pressing natural hazards.
